Burnie the Eggstinguisher
Burnie the EggStinguisher is a bright yellow1968 classic fire engine complete with a cartoon face and arms. He travels the country spreading the good word about eggs. He also tows and chases the incredible Egg a Day OK Hot Air Balloon around New Zealand helping with its incredible flying exploits, events and stunts.Burnie features an onboard ‘sprinkler’ to help cool this followers down, a souped up engine and he also plays songs for the kids. Burnie is a constant hit at functions and events especially with the children who are often found climbing all over him! Burnie comes complete with a tail lifter which is a purpose built platform that the Egg A Day OK balloon can lift off from. Burnie and his owner, balloon pilot extraordinaire Rick Walczak, have been on many adventures together including a trip to the Good Morning Show on TV, a trip to Auckland for the Ambury Park day and being present at countless balloon festivals nationwide.
